I was there in the mountains and I had a pocket full of Rhymes when I was 5 years old. I kinda grew up by myself there in the Houston Valley Hollow. I had 8 sisters but' no brothers at home at this time. I grew up in the fields and the' timber line. Daddy put me on the bus and in the streets when I was 8 years old and' seems its been that way forever. Daddy got sick and ther was 12 of us. I wonted to give him a better life so' I hit the road with my songs and' guitar but' it never happened. Yes' I made a lot of mistakes but' lots of other people made mistakes too. I guess I'm just a sucker for the ROAD and the' WIDE OPEN SPACES. Written about my home town of Del Rio and' Newport Tennessee . I did this recording at home live with no effects just the ' pure raw deal.
