@jhair4me It's heavily implied, but not outwardly stated. I was oblivious to it as a kid, but now that I'm older, it's really shocking to see how horrific Helga's home life is. She calls her parents by their names instead of referring to them as 'mom and dad,' her Dad treats her like dirt, her mom often calls her the wrong name and she's constantly living in her sister's shadow. It's actually really depressing. That would really screw a kid up.
