This is Dogs for Canines, Alpha Sigma Phi's first annual hot dog eating contest to support Canine Companions for Independence, a national nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
The contest took place during halftime at McDaniel College's 2006 Homecoming, and was run by the Epsilon Xi chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi. Over 300 dollars were raised.
