what is such a big deal about having having a few dolphins or orcas in captivity? they will be protected from predators getting food and clean environment and also be cerebraly stimuated everyday, life expect. doubled is most case, to me it mean they actually do better than their bro out there that need to struggle to get shitty food sometimes thank you pollution! so you all activists fight for a good reason, like thousands of sharks massacred every min!or anything else you ll find something....

Umm, I thought that was just video ya see they will cancel the Shamu shows if a whale has gone into labor they can't have a big audience sitting there cause its sorta distracting and dangerous for the orca but even for the trainers! The orcas in this were Katina and most likely Nalani but you can tell this is video because Nalani is 4 months old still young but they will not make a perform she will hang with her mom. When Katina jumps the baby can jump if it wants to.

I think as long as Seaworld stops training young Orcas to perform tricks for profit, they can slowing but surely over period of decades change the operation without causing shockh to either the current performing Orcas or the trainers/ managers, Seaworld should become the worlds foremost rescue rehabilitation centre and could have more extensive breeding programmes to save endangered species, and never condemn other wise wild marine mammals to a life of captivity as a performing circus act.
