Tim/Kon - {C'est La Vie}

So... This is more experimental than anything. I used a blend of photographs(all from Deviantart by the way; if you own anything and want credit just ask) and comics. I've wanted to try something like this for a while.

This song is really beautiful but I can't really understand much past the 35 second mark. My lack of french skills and the hard-to-hear lyrics make it pretty difficult. I couldn't even find the lyrics online (the song is from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx2TcrJ_9JU ).

Beautiful video. Is there by any chance a longer version of the song? I want to the link in your description but the video there seems like it cuts to another song rather than it being the whole song.

As far as I know, that's the entire song. I couldn't even find a download of it, I had to rip the audio off that Youtube video. The video features three songs by the same artist (so yes, it does cut to another song, but they're the full songs). The artist has a facebook page but there's like no info on it; they're just really unknown I guess.

This was huge, I mean really huge and intense and somehow scary and wow. I seriously try to collect myself here because I am just amazed at this experiment. I gotta admit, I never thought about combinating comic scans with real life pictures but now I feel ashamed that this little thought never came across my mind.

it`s huge, that`s what I feel when I watch this and it`s beautiful, dark-twisted beautiful and I could babble all along how this viddie inspires me for something kind of deeper! <3

I've watched a bunch of your vids now and they're really good! If you want to try making a longer vid, maybe scale back on the effects and stuff and just work on putting in the clips you want? I always find that when I focus too much on making it pretty when I first lay out the clips, I spend forever and only get like 3 seconds done. I can always add effects and other clips later, but feeling like I've gotten something done helps motivate me to do the rest. :)

haha I will try but I gotta admit I never was good at doing deep viddies.

they end terrible or just don`t ever get finished because I can`t seem to concentrate too long on them and that`s another point I like at this viddie. you did on it 50 seconds which is long and then again not really and still you got a message across. and I should stop adoring on this viddie damn it..
