Later that afternoon General Patton attacked one of the girls when she stuck her head through a gap. He ripped off a large piece of skin and tried to eat it. He flayed her! I considered shooting him, I was so angry. (On the other hand, that's why there is always screen between them.) I immediately put her in the "infirmary" and she has recovered nicely. I hoped by now he'd be showing more friendly interest in his future wives, but he still lays in wait to attack them. The black male is Black Bart, the Plymouths are Tooty and Tweedy. I'd name the black hens but have a hard time telling them apart for now.
