HUGE LAKE ERIE PERCH ON ICE

Got out ice fishing with mike for the 1st time in a couple weeks on LAKE ERIE for JUMBO YELLOW PERCH.fished STURGEON POINT 2 miles off shore in 52 feet of water.ended up with 28 keepers but should have had 50 - lost a bunch of big fish on the way up.someone fell through the ice and was saved by a fellow ice angler -got to be carefull when out on the big lake.

I have always wanted to ice fish. It looks like so much fun.

2 miles isn't bad at all.

We walk 2-4 miles and it goes by fast as long as you don't look back LOL!

I wouldn't take the changes of taking a vehicle on the ice no matter the thickness 2" or 20"

That is when the snowmobile comes in handy I got one go about 4 miles out into the lake and land these big ass perch biggest one caught about 15 inches 4 pounds biggest son of a bitch I've ever seen in my life
