  • thank you so much for the uploads of the soundtrack, I love all of the songs that were used in the movie

  • @JuniorsObligatory true that.

  • @CokeAmbo One year later.

    OH GAWD THEY DID.

  • @DannyJonline I totally adored it. As much as things were cut out, I was prepared for more and I loved that it was almost like a nod to the fans, that it focussed more on the Eli and Oskar relationship as I'm sure, the majority of readers of the book wanted to see more of.

I'm so glad this was made before Hollywood had a chance to get hold of it and crush it into two hours of blood, violence and they'd probably stick sex into it somewhere.

But yeah I adored it, thanks for the recommendation :)

  • I thought the remake was decent, but from seeing the original first it was hard to see it as an equal film. I think I'm going to blame the casting. As much as I like Chloe Montez, I'm not sure she was the right person. They spent 12 months looking for the right children for the Swedish film. Chloe, by contrast, is probably the first female in the age range that comes to mind for most Americans. I think a nobody would have been fresher.

  • @InYourEmma You will not be disappointed with the original (Dir: Tomas Alfredson). Normally films change the way you see the book, but this is a very good film. The screenplay writer was in fact the author of the book aswell, John Ajvide Lindqvist, and a lot has been cut out but does not lose any integrity, but focuses more on the blossoming friendship between Eli and Oskar. I hope this response is satisfactory, let me know what you think of it.

    Hi,

I would love to read "Let the Old Dreams Die".I have done some searching on the internet but I've yet to find the book of short stories this is a part of.

If you are from the U.S.,where did you find it?

    Thanks in advance!

  • I feel sad for the people who hate on the remake without actually watching it. I know how it feels to hear a remake from such a masterpiece, I'd be disappointed as well. But let me tell you, the remake is amazing. Both films just happen to have amazing soundtracks that capture your attention.

  • just finished reading the book, is it worth watching the film?

i'll be devastated if it ruins it.

love this theme though, this music seems really fitting to eli and oskar.

  • @BiGRiCeD It's called a thumb piano. Look them up, they're pretty neat.
