Leslie Burr Howard at the Syracuse Invitational

Leslie Howard riding Lennox Lewis 2(1999 Bay Oldenburg Gelding). She retired from the competition because she had knocked down a few fences and her horse just didn't seem into it. I respect what she did because if she had tried to keep doing the course her horse may have been lazy and tripped or knocked down a fence/fell through one.

I wonder if there was something wrong with the horse too because for the next competition she rode a different horse. A lot of people do change horses but maybe there was something wrong with him.
