That was a neat trick with the down beat. Thats why i love radiohead; its the little things you catch once in a while that make it special. I decided to listen to kid A (the song) today and realized a part in there and 1:26 here have that same (what i call) hungry cat sound. Amazing

@UnknownDilar69 Sort of, but on a much cooler scale. Like, listen to The Butcher tapping your foot on the downbeat that the bass drum establishes. When the acoustic drums come in, your foot will suddenly be tapping on the upbeat. Really, really neat effect.

radiohead has always astounded me, sometimes I think their b-sides are better than some of the songs on the album. But at the same time, I like them as b-sides because they don't fit with the album, this is a great example! Great song, wouldn't fit well on king of limbs album

@LaughingUltros God you must be tedious.
When Thom Yorke calls you "a little bitch", then you're a little bitch.

I've noticed something incredible. The rhythm at the beginning establishes the downbeat with the kick drum. The keyboard notes, introduced at 0:13, are played on the downbeat. But because of the intro, the downbeat seems as if it's an eight note before the keyboard notes. For the first 10 or so plays I would miscount the downbeat and inevitably get turned around one the acoustic drums come in at 2:00. Listen again counting the downbeat on the keyboard notes. A whole new song. Intentional maybe?
