BTW, that beautiful home is in Kenilworth, Illinois--an extremely expensive town. I saw it in person and the neighborhood is much nicer than it looks in the movie. Probably because it's kind of a dreary winter day in the film.

Well, they don't make 'em like this anymore. Amazing movie. The first time I saw this I was expecting a funny, lighthearted buddy movie. But I came away enormously happy and grateful for all the great things in my life. When was the last comedy you saw that made you feel that way?

i realy relate to this movie because john candy had no family to spend thanksgiving with.. nore do i. but god bless all the ones who do! have a happy thanksgiving!
