More bits 'n' bobs...
For one reason or another, Stan Hugill chose to reproduce these two variants (one verse only) of the "Fire Down Below" chantey, that were collected by Cecil Sharp. They originally appeared in the Journal of the Folk-Song Society, Vol. 5, No. 20 (Nov., 1916). There are a few errors in reproduction (slight changes in pitch or rhythm) here and there; my own singing probably changes a few more spots.
