See my note above. I'd been playing through an amp; he insisted that I play the "thump" pedal (he loved the sound) to keep time. I obeyed the master--and posted the video, even though I knew some people would focus on the low harp volume.

Yes. And he uses his index finger to get the syncopated "snap." If I were a guitar player looking for some insight into how Mississippi blues is actually played, I would park myself in front of this video and the previous one I put up and spend some serious woodshed time.
