Some Obama supporters stood outside the grounds of the Republican debate, in Simi Valley, and voiced their support for our current President. Here's what a few had to say when I asked them questions about immigration.

  • I really don't think I have ever seen ANYBODY more Ignorant than the lady in this video.

  • @kinglou480971 Based upon that remark alone, I can tell you don't take a video camera to protests and political functions in Southern California.

  • I am against borders of all kinds. I love latin culture. Latinos contributes greatly to our society. Spanish should be our second language. Latinos are hard-working, family oriented people who work hard to support their families, doing work americans won't do, And they do it well. Drug problem is a result of prohibition. Make drugs legal. It's ironic that libertarians are concerned with controlling borders, women's reproductive rights, but when it comes to money - no controls.

  • @prajnabala What's more ironic is that you're talking about "libertarians" and "Latinos" at a Republican function, where the questions being asked are about illegal aliens.

  • @prajnabala Ya so let's just let all the latino's just hop over the border and take the American's jobs without even receiving citizenship, and brings their illegal dangerous drugs with them. Let's just welcome that shit in, so they can get in our schools too and make the rest of us look dumber when they aren't even real citizens. Gosh, thanks illegal aliens!

  • How do illegals get ok or minimum wage jobs? If they all left would you do the jobs they have to do to survive? Also what about the companies that hire them there making the situation worse no? Im spanish/mexican and i have no problem with any illegals being here.

  • Continuation: @thechillincivilian. But regardless, it's a state now so it is no different in my mind than Arizona or Maine it is American soil and should be treated as such. If you don't like it, leave... Very simple.

  • Continuation: @thechillincivilian. If they want to speak spanish, Italian French or whatever at home fine. They don't have to give up their culture. But we should have to enable them because they don't want to speak the countries language. As far as Hawaii I am not really educated as to how it ended up a state so I can't really speak on if we have the right to be there. But regardless, it's a state now so it is no different in my mind than Arizona or Maine it is American soil and should be t

  • . Like it or not it's how the world works. English speaking settlers took this land, formed a government and that's that. If you don't like that go find yourself a country that didn't take the land they own from another group (good luck with that by the way). So unless some other group/country wants to come and take America away through all out war, it's still ours and residents should have to abide by our laws and speak our language if they want to be a contributing member of society. If th

  • @thechillincivilian. So being that the native language is a mix of different native American languages, you feel we should have to speak those? Hate to tell ya, but settlers concurred this land a few hundred years back, and they predominately spoke English, and the language spoken by government is English so I'm pretty confident in saying right now, we are an English speaking country... That is how countries have been created since the being of time, one group takes land from another. Like it

  • @prajnabala WHAT?! Spanish our second language?! Are you kidding me?! When did the USA become Mexico? you wanna live here, learn the language (which is ENGLISH!), if you don't want to go HOME!! your home not mine! I dont care how "hard working" they are, they take my tax dollars every paycheck. Not to mention I have had my SS# stolen and used by an illegal to run up debt, then was dumb enough to give it to a cop when he was arrested for DUI/hit and run.... Yeah great additions to US...

  • I love that all of these folks refuse to admit that illegals are breaking the law. They act like the illegals have some right to be here...which they don't. If you want to live in the US, get in line and do it legally. And the comments about them paying taxes (not sure if that was in this video or the other), really, I worked in food service for YEARS, not a single illegal I worked with paid taxes. of course the business owners were to blame but that's irrelevant the point is they don't pay.
