  • That's Ralph Baer!...He is concidered to be the father of video games!

  • Yes indeed! Although Willy Higginbotham created the first interactive electronic game in 1958 (thats documented anyway), Ralph Baer was the first to create a prototype (circa 1967) that displayed interactive games on a television. Baer sold the concept to Magnavox. The prototype was adapted to meet FCC regulations and sold as the Magnavox Odyssee, the first video game system in 1972.
