I totally agree with you bundaymarcia onn the history of Christmas and because of the reasons you gave I do not celebrate it. HOWEVER, I must say the pastors are saying something very important, if you say Christmas is about Christ then it should be celebrated in a manner that he would have appreciated........seeing to those who are REALLY in need

I am sorry you have such a negative perception of these three pastors. I happen to be part of the place where one ministers. These men serve only God and follow his greatest commandment, which is to love one another.

Please don't shut out the message they are trying to pass on. Their churches are doing some amazing things to help people here, in the U.S., and around the world. One is called Living Water and I hope you get a chance to research it. It's pretty amazing. God Bless.

Instead of trying to change Christmas why don't we celebrate the birth of Messiah on the Feast of Tabernacles when he was actually born? Christmas was once a pagan holiday called the winter solstice and the birthday of the sun god was Dec. 25th. Luke1 and 1Chron 24 give us the information needed to figure out His actual birth date. The 3 major biblical holidays are Tabernacles, Passover, and Pentecost all very important in the gospel story. Believers should learn about them!

you need to think what Christmas was really at FIRST. the first Christmas WAS the birth of Christ. NOT SANTA and reindeer and elves who make toys that, admit it, you won't use every day for the REST of your life. You just think about all your video games and ipods and your cable when WHOLE countries think about if they'll DIE tomorrow because some greedy people spend 45 billion dollars to buy stuff that will eventually break, and over time, be USE-LESS. how about putting yourself in their shoes.

And so what are we to pay these clowns for ? You know they think they should be paid now.You can't just go around preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and not get paid or layed.After all,it's all about them and their cool,hip facial hairs.
