  • When I first saw this I just found out that 3 of my cousins are being deployed to Afghanistan. I had never even heard of this song, but as soon as I began watching the video somehow I knew it was a soldier tribute, by the time BRC got to the word sand I was bawling. listening to this song helped me deal with the fact that my cousins might not come back, and if they do come back, they will be forever changed by the horrors of war. Don't forget to thank and pray for our service men and women.

  • He's definely come a long ways from achy breaky heart;-) Great job and a truely touching song. Thank you BRC

  • BRC looks great!! I like his hair in this video. He's just yummy all over!

  • i love this song and also his other newest one, "somebody said a prayer". i'm so happy to see billy ray successful again. he never gave up. in his words "no matter how many times you get knocked down, it comes down to gettin' back up". thanks billy ray, for gettin' back up so many times! i can't wait for the new cd coming out jan. 13 and his movie "flying by" being released in 2009! God Bless BRC!

  • congrats to you on living so close to billy ray's roots! he seems to perform more there these days, so maybe you have seen him in concert recently? i think this is a great song and i can't wait for the cd to come out. sadly it's been delayed now until jan. 13.

  • once again, country music radio fails to deliver. they rarely promote billy ray's fantastic music. call your radio station and ask them to play this and "somebody said a prayer", both are on his upcoming album.
