  • I just had the same surgery for the same reason only on the right side and thanks for sharing your story. I could relate to many things you said. I did have an issue with mild post op pneumonia, but a few IV meds from the ER and BANG, I great! =) And I appreciate life better too...the maybe having cancer thing. I'm still waiting for results to come back. And yes, it has changed my perspective and the way I make choices. I just wanted you to know that your sharing mattered to one person...me. :)

  • Aww, thanks. I hope your outcome turns out better than mine. Either way, I wish you luck. :-)

  • You are such an inspiration!! Thank you for all your advice and Im sure you are back to normal now. All the best for your future. I will take your advice for my future thyroidectomy in four weeks time. Thank you again.

  • I am happy you look very good I had this surgery as well due lo a very aggresive type of cancer. The most important thing is taking the pill every morning and exersice

  • You voice sounds great after one week. I had the op'6 months ago, and I didn't get my voice back. Mine was not cancer afterall, but it had to be removed. I am just missing my voice so much! I suppose, I am looking for some hope that my voice will heal. Good on you for sharing your experience. :-)

  • Thanks for sharing your video. I will have the surgery to take one of my thyroid gland next month in Japan. It's not a cancer but it's growing so I decided to do. I'm encouraged by this video. I can get hopes that I will be able to talk and life my life normally after the surgery. Thanks.
