Wow ... thanks for posting this film clip. I always thought the T-38 was one neat looking jet. One of the best T-bird paint jobs too. My Dad was a T-38 instructor pilot in the mid-1970's. One of the biggest thrills of my life was going to an airshow with my Dad at Randolph AFB, San Antonio and watching the T-birds perform in the Talon. I always felt sad when the T-38 was criticized and the USAF moved on to the F-16 Falcon. F-16 puts on a good show, but I'll always remember the Talon.

@ChristopherBordelon1 PROBABLY BECAUSE OF FUEL CONSUMPTION -- TOO MUCH.
BUT YEAH, I'D LOVE TO SEE THEM USE THE F-15 TOO!
I REMEMBER SEEING THE THUNDERBIRDS AT NORTON AFB AGES AGO. THERE THEY USED THE T-38.
I LIKED THAT SHOW MUCH BETTER THAN THE F-16 THUNDERBIRDS SHOW I SAW JUST A FEW YEARS AGO AT MARCH ARB. THE T-38'S WERE SHARPER IN MANUVERABILITY

Great old vid. I was on the team 72-74. I didn't see myself in this video, but I know all the guys in this one. It was great to see how "young" we all were. Thanks.

The music kind of reminds me of those NFL Football films from back in the day with the narration. Always have loved watching the Thunderbirds as when I was old enough to remember they were still using the T-38 for performances. I remember when they made the changeover to the F-16. I wonder if they will go to another plane in the future. I have always said Id like to see an F-15 as a Thunderbird plane but I guess there is something about it that the USAF wont allow it to be a Thunderbird
