The intro doesn't really paint Ming as much of a threat. It shows some guy firing a BB or something through his window to sting his hand, another guy scaring his pet, thereby causing it to wreck his home in panic, then the entire team just gangs up on him, causing him to retreat from his own home through the back door.
I'm pretty sure one of them messed up his satellite dish too.
