The original song was done by Earl Vince & The Valiants, who were the alter ego of... Yup, you guessed it... Fleetwood Mac! It was released as the B-Side to the Mac's Man Of The World on Immediate Records in 1969>
I couldn't honestly tell you which version I prefer more. Depends on the mood I'm in. There both awesome.

@2DD its up on YT, but no, the Fleetwood Mac original sounds terrible and doesn't fit at all with the lyrics they wrote.

@DikkSteini may have came up with it, but did it terribly, and I hate cover songs. The Rezillos and to a lesser extent the Youth Brigade did this song justice.

I used to sing this one with my band Broadway Boys.
It was originally recorded by Earl Vince & The Valiants a k a Fleetwood Mac. The song was conceived by Jeremy Spencer.
