    It does not heat up the milk. You can heat the milk before frothing if you want to make a hot beverage.

    okay, is the milk cold or hot? I've had something similar to this, but it didn't work well for hot milk.

    The milk frothed in the video was cold. The Bonjour Mini Frother does not heat up milk but you can heat your milk before frothing :)

    "Bonjour recommends"... who is Bonjour?... Some ultra froth being who none of us have met but should trust for all frothing advise? Mr. bonjour must be completely ignorant to the fact that humans are completely capable of easily frothing milk using a glass frother with your hand for 10 seconds, and this action does not need replacement by a cheap battery powered toy. Also anyone with basic scientific knowledge knows non-fat milk will froth better!

    Besides it not heating the milk, is this frother going to create a froth that is comparable to froth made with a traditional espresso machine steam wand? Is it like cold microfoam?
