Me playing IKTPQ Say Goodbye on my Xiphos.
The camera didn't pick the sound up very well but it was more just an exercise to see if it would work.

How do the D-Activators sound? Awesome cover good song!

Thanks. I think they sound good. The neck pickup is by far my favourite, warm and liquid sounding with arpeggios/solos and fat and solid when playing riffs. The bridge sounds a little thin but has more drive, but you can adjust your amp EQ to make is sound more solid.

I use a Laney Head with a Laney 4 x 10" quad.

Yeah, I think the notes sound more solid when it's all downpicked. It can sound a little weak when alternate picking it IMO.

Thanks for the comment, and yeah I will post a vid of a 'Phagist song when I finally get one down. It's taking me awhile as I hardly have any time to practice these days.
