    The total weight increased by 600lbs adding batteries, onboard charger, motor, minus gas engine. Use about 50Amps on flat road cruising, up to 300Amps while accelerate. Trojan maybe better, but the Sam,s Club Energizer cost $72, I did not find anything even close.

  • Top speed is 45 mph, and I can get up to 50 mi range w/ moderate drive. I have 12x6V Sam's Club batteries, 220Ah each

  • trojan t125 batteries are pretty good 6v 240amphr, 66lbs, and are pretty well priced, just a thought.

    At 45 on flat ground cruising how many amps are you drawing?

  • Thank you albert. I have the same speed. I guess its the limit of our controller. But only have 20 miles since Im running on 110AH batteries.
