Blatant Liar, Eric Canton, Claims Americans Oppose Public Option

(Via http://www.mediamatters.org ) During an October 8, 2009 interview on CBS' The Early Show, both anchor Maggie Rodriguez and Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) promoted the false claim that Americans do not want a public option. In fact, recent polls make it clear that Americans are in favor of health care reform that includes the creation of a public option.

Ummm....because he is! All polls, even by the right-leaning Rassmussen says 60%, minimum, of the American public want a public option.  This is NOT opposition as Cantor states. He's flat-out lying.

Botox is helpful for, "lying straight-faced." Bob Dole, Bobby Jindal, some far lesser Republican lights, and an unknowable number of Republican private citizens are putting their elected Republican brethren on notice that being, "the party of NO," is unhelpful and not wanted.
