Love this song. Robert Palmer had a great voice and was so hot!

A brilliant track with clever production, using real drums underneath the synths gives it great feel and balls. One of his best songs in my opinion....RIP Mr Palmer, sorely missed.

@wedoit4money You are mistaken, I had the System's album "Sweat" in the summer of 82, which predates this by a year. David Frank the original producer of this song, was asked to revamp the song to introduce to pop radio.

@wedoit4money Sorry, but Palmer has done many covers or R&B hits. This is another one of them but yes, we are all on crack. So you are technically only half mistaken ;)

I'm not too crazy about the description of this upload, particularly the unnecessary bit about Michael Jackson. Regardless, Robert Palmer's always been cool in my book. Any white guy who can cover Cherrelle automatically gets a Ghetto Pass.
Robert Palmer is one cool motherfucker. Enough said.

Although I wasn't even born when Robert had most of his hits ( Born 1987), both my parents were big Robert Palmer fans and I grew-up with a lot of his music and think he's one of the most under-rated British Singers ever.
I once remember reading an article in one of the national newspapers saying that Robert was "One of the coolest guys in the business", after watching some of his videos I can clearly see why.
