I review the Audio Technica AT2020 USB Cardioid Condenser Microphone. It is a very nice microphone, and its very high quality. It is on the pricey side at $250 from the Audio Technica website, but it is much cheaper from Amazon or Ebay. It is very easy to install. It doesn't pickup a lot of background noise. Comes with mic, USB cable, stand, registration booklet, and a carrying bag. It is a side address mic so it records from the side rather than the top. This is a great microphone! 10/10

  • re: the flashing clock...the 'digits' are cycling at 60 hz (60 times/sec) while your camera is more then likely capturing at 30fps and its not 'timed' to the clocks cycle, causing a 'strobe' effect. Happens on almost anything that cycles, ie. helicopter blades, fans, car wheels (hence that 'backward spin' look in videos.) Its also the reason why 'talent' avoids thin stripes on camera. Its also the principle on which strobe light recording works to 'stop' movement.

  • Ok, cool! Never knew that!

  • Thanks brotha jus ordered mine

  • The distance was especially a problem before I started using the Boom stand, but even with the 6-12 inches, you can still hear all the the background noise. Don't get me wrong, I love the mic and I love the quality, but I need a more quiet place to record. XD
