Story:
Yuuki and Maria met one day when the headmaster asked Yuuki to give Maria the school tour upon her entering the Academy. The moment their eyes meant they knew that they were meant to be. But they had to keep their relationship quiet, behind closed doors only. Just so that no one stirred anything up about it. One day Maria got sickly again and left the school for a week or two and Yuuki got really worried.
Maria had returned soon, with hired a bodyguard to warn and keep Yuuki from "stalking or otherwise disrupting Maria's day". Yuuki started having emotional breakdowns and a deep, scarring depression. Started cutting and drinking her own blood even. Being without Maria literally drove her insane. All she dreamt about was running after her and never getting to her...
When confronted by Maria again, it was like she was a totally different person. But Yuuki could see the Maria she loved inside and begged her to come back, reminding her of the nice times they'd had. After being baited and teased, she was, literally, thrown to the side once more.
Yuuki got really depressed and didn't do much for awhile. But she finally confessed to her good friend, Zero what happened when they were on patrol one day. Lo and behold, a minute or two afterwards, Maria skips by smirking. Zero pulls his gun on her, but Yuuki gets in the way, pleading with him not to hurt her because she still loved her.
This is what got Maria's attention.
After Yuuki pleaded once more with her, she ran back to her room, crying into the couch. She didn't wait for MAria's answer. She cried herself to sleep. The next day, she happened by Maria again, who gave her a smile. Yuuki couldn't help by try... One... Last... Time...
