  • couldn't you use thinner lighter wheels and aim for everything to be lighter? think electric bicycle.

    everything becomes cheaper

  • @DanFrederiksen Thanks for the comment, yes there are some advantages in the lightness of bicycles. I started with recumbent bicycles and of course have been considering electrifying ;-) one of those

  • really nice design! I can't wait to see SEMs on the road... but are you sure that this small landing gear next to the rear wheel will be enough to keep the vehicle upright? especially when the road is sloping or if there are some wheel ruts this could be a problem...

  • @BobLee911 Hi Bob, your not the first with this comment. I now think I can easily "widen" them, without loosing the advantage of the wheels being on the rear-wheel center. I also am considering using a hard spring on a hinge near the wheels like the "LegUp"system, which cleverly allows some heeling also.

I am investigating a cooperation with an Englishman, which will hopefully lead to a prototype next year.

The New Agni 30Kw motor also is almost ready as are the Chinese from CHL batt

  • very nice, love the battery location under seat, good place for fuel too[combustion engine]using a slide in fuel cell. The range of electrics is almost doubled with streamlining as is fuel consumption in a combustion engine,so with some minor testing of the airflow, this would be one slick vehicle.I would use camera's[so cheap now]hooked to a high quality Alpine or ?with a central screen,to see, around the sides and back, eliminating 2 ugly noisey [wind] mirrors.

  • @inagod Hi there, the mirror I also dislike, but they are obligatory .... Will certainly install rearview camera's and try to prove the government guys they are wrong

  • We all love those monoque carbon fiber chassis's,but there expensive.I like your vision, simple chrome molly light weight tube chassis, with a body that could be made of anything, carbon, kevlar, plastic etc.a single electric motor, one of the best motors in this size.I'm your biggest fan,I dream about streamline vehicles cruising the highways,He He.
