Alexa Gonzalez, a 12-year-old Queens girl, was arrested for writing with a lime green marker the words I love my friends Abby and Faith on her desk. She also added Lex was here. 2/1/10 with a smiley face. She was scribbling those words on her desk while waiting for her Spanish teacher to pass out homework. That was probably the biggest mistake the 12-year-old Alexa ever made in her entire life.

  • Just another example of zero tolerance gone awry. There is nothing logical about zero tolerance in the public schools. It just simply appeals to emotions.

  • @dbonds831 Sorry, I'm going to have to disagree with your idea here again. It should never be dealt with police. Even if it does get out of hand. While at school, should be dealt with by the school admin. Thats why there is even school admin. If it ever gets that bad, suspension. Bam, problem solved. No tax payers money wasted. If they decide to doodle on public property, then it would be applicable to call the cops.

  • @fanmanabc Ok, yeah, I can agree to that, as long as it's not an out of control problem for the school. If it's a once in a while thing, sure, but if it's something that's gotten out of control then sadly escalating it to a police matter might be justified.

  • @fanmanabc it doesn't matter, she didn't do it!

  • @dbonds831 agreed, but cops? kinda overboard. should have been dealt with by administration within the school. not pull cops for a petty offence when they have more important things to do

  • @SuperDisneyfan14

in the video, they reported that she did doodle on her desk at school. the doodle on paper was just an example of her doodles.

  • @philateliceun If there were no unions, half the teachers today would be suddenly out of a job; much to the delight of students, parents, and teachers who are truly cut out for the job

  • i didn't see any ink on her desk, only on the paper, why did those ingnorant morons arrest her?!?! she did not do anything for it.

  • @skaha77 Amen, if you are a teacher and you need the cops to learn your students a lesson you should find another job.

  • Your teachers need Cops to learn their students a lesson! How pathetic!!!
