It seems that whenever Brindley built a canal at the end of some knobs garden they insisted on him building them an aesthetically pleasing bridge in return. Bridge 82 at Salt bears ample testimony to this.
The Holly Bush Inn (not to be missed) is left af the top of the little path to the bridge and right at the end of the lane by the posh house.
