Some early footage of a Death Knight in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.

Darion Mograine, wielding the talking blade Ashbringer, is located in the Death Knight starting zone, Ebon Hold. If you stand near him long enough his blade will whip out some pretty scary lines...

When we get a chance to fight arthas, I honestly dont believe he dies. I think ner'zhul dies and falls to the ground where arthas turns back into a normal good paladin like he was. But thats just me. Because come on its ARTHAS I dont think blizzard is going to kill him off.

frostmourne doesnt talk dude, Arthas was cursed and Ner'zul spoke to him, thats the voice that the one dreadlord spoke off. Frostmourne was part of ner'zhul to which whoever took the blade will become his champion death knight.

the asbringer was wield by his father, and now u hear the ashbringer talk...

I was once called Ashbringer the sword says.But man this is awesome! I wonder if you hold frostmourne you hear wierd sounds too, thats how Arthas killed his dad..he listened to his sword.

Renault on the other hand, keeps being a part of the Scarlet Crusade, which goes mad, and he is the boss in Scarlet Monastery Cathedral part. Alexandros` second son was unntil WLK Alpha unknown, where it is proven that it is Highlord Darion Mograine, a Death Knight in the service of the Lich King.

Highlord Alexandros Mograine is the father, and the one creating Scarlet Crusade (before they go mad), also known as the Ashbringer because he like his sword only leaves ash after killing hundreds of undeads. He is betrayed by his son, Renault Mograine, that drags him into a trap which sends thousands of undeads at Alexandros, and after he killed them all, Renault stabs him down. Alexandros is turned into a Death Knight, and is one of the four riders in Naxxramas when Naxxramas is in Azeroth.
