San Diego Hospice on San Diego Living - Channel 6

The San Diego Hospice "Pawsitive Pals" Pet Therapy Program (http://www.sdhospice.org/volunteer) was featured on "San Diego Living" (XETV Channel 6) as part of the Doggie Street Festival line-up in February 2010. San Diego Hospice Volunteer Coordinator Danielle Hoffman talks about the volunteer program where pets and their owners/handlers provide companionship and comfort to patients with serious illness throughout San Diego and North County. All dogs came to us fully certified from an approved agency and carry the appropriate liability insurance and all handlers go through our full patient care volunteer training class as well.
