I got introduced to this style of pickin' by a guy coming to the open mic nights here in Minersville .PA. I just love this style and sound but is way to technical for me. I'm more of a "keep-it-simple-stupid" kind of player. More folk / rock. Anyway, I play an old Yairi dy45 and a '77 Yairi 12string. and I think the 12 is the sweetest playing and best sounding guitar I ever played. If you're interested, check out my music at BrokeBoB.com. I just love the double neck Yairi !

Hi, is this recording all-natural, or do you have a pickup? If so, what kind? THANKS!

did you lower the action on the 6 string? I tried to do this on my dy -87 and can't get the sound..

yeah my action is pretty low not anywhere near an electric i've been playing acoustic for a long time and I tend to push down really hard. I fix guitars though so I guess I have that advantage. Awesome to hear you have one of these Alvarez yairi guitars are amazing
