Toroidal Generator II

Abject failure! This one REALLY taught me a lot....like you can make the coil material too thick for magnetic penetration. In other words, little to no voltage! Damn! I worked on this one for at least 30 hours. Back to the ole drawing board!!

Is that coil wrapped around metal? If so the weakness lies in that too because the metal around the coil dissipates the magnetic field before reaching the coil.

why do you call this a "toriodal generator"? i mean i have an idea for the most efficient generator(at least on paper it looks that way) that uses a "toroid" (a donut shaped coil of wire) but i dont see the toroid in your toroidal generator. not downing your work, just wondering why you call it that? thanks

What were you building? Driving the rotor with pole alternation or vice versa, inducing current into the coil from spinning the rotor?
