  • Thank you so much for this video. I need to repair some wall cracks in my old home. I have never repaired a wall and this info you've shared makes it look doable. My home needs a lot of TLC but I am not wiing l to spend the outrageous amounts quoted to me by professionals. Again thanks for helping this novice in home repairs.

  • if you have a lot of medium-deep cracks in your walls, i think my walls are drywall, can your house just fall down???? sorry i'm 12 and i'm not an idiot but i don't know a lot about walls and that kind of stuff. and can someone please answer me

  • @FunnyCats582 Hi i dont think your house is going to fall down! they could be settlement cracks, but if your worried get your parents to have the house checked by a builder or surveyor.

Love your cat vids by the way , great work for twelve yrs old.

  • Thank you, you do good work. I just repaired a few cracks in my house the wrong way, it looks like scars. I think I did not widen the cracks enough, Will redo it next time like you did.Thank you so much for your posting. By the way, I like your "store card" tool. I won't throw them away anymore.

  • @tjzeimetz The best way to deal with hairlines is to make the cracks fillable, so just drag the edge of a screwdriver until the crack is open enough to fill , a v shape is a good way to describe what you need to create.

its best to use filler rather than plaster, as filler is designed to be sanded smooth, getting plaster smooth is a skilled job and is also unsuitable for a previously painted surface unless the whole surface is being skimmed this also requires skilled preperation.

  • @instone09 thank you!!
