  • the ss was greman get your facts right

  • @sinnett65 the russian helmet is called the ssh 40 model. i wasn't referring to the SS.

  • @askchipmonk if you watched the video till the end its in the annotations and i just fucked up the name... fucckkk... its the ss ch-40 model.

  • i wear the gloves to when i show my friends stuff or if they want to hold it or touch it i make them put the gloves on

  • yeah gloves keep everything clean and umarked which is good with mint and relic items, but aslong as you have clean hands im not too fussy depends on the item :P

  • That Russian policemans hat is from the 1980s, it seems to have taken a bit of damage.

    What size is it?

I may take it off your hands if your willing to give me a decent price. :)

  • its not that damaged mate, seen alot worse, just say its in worn/used condition, about 51-52 cm

ummm sure, whats your offer :)

  • I know a huge antique collector, he has a russian uniform from ww2 aswell as two russian winter hats with the hammer and sickle on it.

  • the patch is a Soviet Army Radio-Technic and Communication Troops patch

  • The badge appears to be a communications division and of 1970's or later vintage. The hat could also be from as early as the late 70s, though 80s is more likely. Hope I could help! I've got a video on my profile with my collection of Russian militaria if you'd like to compare.

  • well im going to be honest since theres a lack of knowledge here, its nothing to do with the US army, not a GI hat, or anything at all to do with the united states of any kind, its a British army DPM cap, first pattern that was made with the first pattern DPM suit otherwise known as the 66 pattern, it wasnt popular and was known by many names such as Crap hat, Jap hat and D I L L A C hat, its obvious from the start that its British Army camouflage no matter how amateur you are.

  • I have the revolver the M1895 Nagant holster. Who doest in North America they are 100-200 bucks with holster and cleaning kit.

  • the badge is a part of the russian airforce :)

  • my russian hat looks a lot better no offense :)
