Lenny leadoff HR in game 3 of the 1986 WS off I believe Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd started the turnaround from an 0-2 hole. The "Tablesetter" and the "Ignition" to the '86 Mets. By the way, how criminal was it that he got traded to the Phils for Juan "underachieve and butcher bslls in CF" Samuel. That De - SPIC - able!!

Lenny Dykstra was the 1986 NLCS hero in games 3 and game 6. he should have won the MVP award. Mike Scott got it because if astrodome fans heard the award was given to silly Lenny has he was lying ontop of his teammates in the middle of the astroturf, there would have been looting all over Houston, and beer bottles thrown at the Mets celebrating on the field. so they gave the award to mike Scott, to keep law and order
