Many M*A*N*Y thanks to the Schuylkill Valley Model RR Club of Phoenixville, PA for allowing me to run this train, as well as my Reading Crusader steam locomotive, and my Reading FP-7's on their beautiful layout. In this video the sleek pioneering high-speed streamliners rub shoulders with a coal drag powered by New Haven DL-109's and slice across a rural grade crossing at high speed, both of which they never did in real life (but they sure look great doing it here!!). Contrary to popular beleif these cars are main line RAILROAD equipment and NOT trolley cars. According to the book "Pig & Whistle" by Ron Degraw they are the very first RAILROAD equipment ever tested in a wind tunnel, making them the world's very first high-speed electric supertrains, and the granddaddy to today's high-speed trains all over the world.
