Sound quality of the recording is a bit poor. Also it's done in a different way because it's acoustic which will always bring vitriol unless it's by the artist who originally performed it.

Did you notice that she performed this on the day after MJ's death? This may not be the best cover of this song, but considering the situation (presumably the little time she had to rehearse it), it's pretty decent.

This is a hard song to sing, and it's hard to convey the message without the EPIC sound. When it's acoustic it loses it's luster. She did the best she could, and it's nice to see someone do Earth Song- everyone does the same old Beat It & Billie Jean thing. Great choice of a tribute.
