We just need to come home. Afghanistan has never been a country even under the taliban is was in a state of constant civil war. It is a tribal region and we should leave it to be just that.

Here's how the USA "wins" in Afghanistan:
Kill, starve, & use diseases to decease 80-90% of the Afghans. Put the remainder on reservations in the high desert. Bring in American colonists to take over the good bottomland. It worked in 19th century America against the native american tribes, it can work again.
Of course I am being sarcastic. BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!

The problem with withdrawing and letting the Taliban come back into power, is that they won't keep their word, and will allow AlQaeda to return as well. That means more international suicide attacks from AlQaeda.
The real solution for Afghanistan and the region is to change the borders. Restore a unified Pashtun state and it will be able to competently administer over the people and eliminate Taliban.
