  • What a lovely tune! I don't know if it's the recording quality or the hammers, but the HD sounds super fine.

  • @92strings

Thank you! We work hard at making the instrument sound the way it should and I'm glad you like it! Ruth

  • Who makes your Hammers? Are they by any chance German Hackbrett Hammers?

  • These hammers are made by Sam Rizetta and I like the tone they produce on slower, more lyrical music. I tried 5 pair of these before buying, and this one particular pair seemed "tuned" to my instrument.

  • Absolutely beautiful, Ruth. Thank you. Have you heard of Peter Elman? He did a song called Durango Saloon and the Dulcimer in it was awesome. Yours though, has to be the most beautiful I've ever heard.

  • I had not heard of him, but looked him up - nice!

Thanks for your kind words and we're so glad you like our music.

  • I loved Zion Mountain Folk

  • So Sweet.....Ruth is awesome and the Guitar blended nicely to fill this song out. I get lost in this Style of Music with images in my mind. 5*'s

  • My daughter & I have enjoyed your music since we happened to hear "An Appalachian Aire" in a dulcimer shop (Blowing Rock, NC) in 2005. We LOVE your music! Please consider a You Tube post of my absolute favorite...A Fig For A Kiss. I'm now planning a move to NH & hope to turn the Northeast on to the beauty of your music...
