The internet is a blessing to all of us, more so the video whereby we get to see relatives, friends and places all over the world in real time, an example being the SKYPE phone. We get to bypass the crooked politicians who create enmity between nations so that they can profit from it. There is money to be made here like investing in a stock called ON2 technologies(ONT is the ticker symbol). Buy it as a long term stock.

A vision that I can see of the future, (yet not so near).....Webcam. Imagine each entire wall of a room in your home being the screen of showing another persons cam...or the room in thier house, thus leaving the people on the other end, lifesize as you would be to them. If you had each 4 walls "on" at the same time.....that really is the time when the internet and real life has merged! I really do think a day will come when this happens.

Yes, but will video blogging lead people to become more narrow in their views or will it lead people to become more open to the ideas of others? Most broadcast stations make some effort to be balanced in what they provide. Are the "networks" that evolve online likely to have diversity of opinion among memebers?

Sure like the crap they are trying to sell you in the movie like Flight 93. Sure there are also good movies. But your right, not often, bot sometimes ther are good movies. Although I can't remember the last I've seen a good one. Like Good Will Hunting, or Sent of a woman.

It is like what Pierre Teilhard de Chardin called the Noosphere in his book "The Phenomenon of Man." Interesting how what was a theoretical/philosophical concept is becoming real.
Do you know, I like humans a whole lot more since I joined this community? Seriously, I think it put me back in touch with what genuinely good people look and sound like :).

Fantastic interpretation. I agree with everything you said. I hope more people realize this and get some damn decent bandwidth projects going in this country. We are EXTREMELY far behind compared to many countries. Imagine the capacity for videoconferencing etc if we had full speed fiber. The telcos need to get it together. It would be incredible.

Awesome idea for movie distribution, you should get a patent! You sound very educated and well read, looking forward to more videos.
