Zalmay Khalilzad, a former US ambassador to Afghanistan and a key figure in US administration under George Bush, has been accused of trying to hand-pick Afghanistan's next president.

Al Jazeera's James Bays reports from Dubai, where Khalilzad is chairing a conference on Afghanistan's future.
