As a Christian organization, Mercy Ministries is focused first and foremost on helping the young women in its care find healing and wholeness. Young women come to Mercy Ministries by choice, and no young woman is ever held against her will. Moreover, Mercy Ministries does not charge any young women for its services including total care during their residential stay at one of the Mercy Ministries homes or counseling information and materials provided.

Mercy Ministries was founded by Nancy Alcorn.
