@onlinelondonkaraoke Hebrew is beautiful. I agree, when I heared modern Hebrew like spoken by Israelis today, for the first time I thought the speaker had a French accent, manly because of the "v" and the "r" sounds. He didn't. However, it's said that the modern Hebrew voiced uvular fricative "r" has its root in Ashkenazi Hebrew phonology which is influenced by Yiddish, German and various Slavic languages. Then again, in French and German "v" and "r" are spoken almost the same. There you go. :)

Hebrew has a lot - in the phonetics - to French; beautiful languages; - I like this song very much; beautiful tune; but, as I have said so many times before there; singers should listen to Ofra Haza's LEGATO singing; linger the tones, and abandon this staccato-fashion...
