  • @loko4191141 : I made my first pilgrimage to this song a year ago after a very long time, I am back this year again and if the proverbial lamp (the title track) is not extinguished, I will make it an annual visit. RIP Oladunni Oduguwa.

  • who are you Groovemonzter...you are a legend man .. seriously

  • God bless adunni decency,l was so young when she was playing juju music but l remembered when she died my mom was grieving days on end while my dad was comforting her, back then l could not just understand,l thought decency was related to my mom. Now l know better my parents were just unapologetic juju nigeria music lovers. Ariya has no end, ariya is unlimited it won't stop for all generations.

  • Decency.a tragedy.she died so young,i think she was 27...well before she reached her peak..i remember watching her on band stand and bar beach show with her husband playing Gangan in her band..RIP

  • She sounds so much like a female "Sunny Ade"

  • A mummy with the touch of gold on the juju scene. We appreciate her all her work. Great contribution to the music world. We love you. Thanks for posting, Groovemonzter.

  • she was the lone female in the heavily saturated genre of juju music back then. she was the first female i ever saw play the guitar. she died so young without making much impact on the scene.

  • @rfalae i could almost cry too , i agree, reminds me of so much

  • omg, God bless you posting this. i could almost cry. this is the good ol' nigerian days.

  • Not a bad piece from this lady. Her husband actually played in her band. What a promising lady!Unfortunately, she died when she was just blossoming.May her soul rest in peace.
