  • Dude . You Are Just Wasting Time . You Can Just Create A Partition During The Windows Xp Installation . Why Need To Do It Inside The Windows ?

  • @97221135 yeah you are right. but i figured that maybe people will find it easier to use a graphical program to partition the hard drive than to use the dos version. you totally right though, you can partition using the windows installation cd too

  • Does it really need all that programs to do it? cant i just run it from boot and install it? i have winxp win7.. and want to put linux..and already have 3 partitions..

  • @drummer2788 hi. theres many ways of getting the same result. i just found using these programms easier to understand and to repeat :)

  • @jusjoe88 awesome thanks :) sorry, 'nother question... is it possible to boot OS X 10.6 from a memory stick/portable hard drive? (I have a 350GB one - does it have to be empty?) After converting the .dmg file to an .iso it's almost 8GB and won't fit on traditional DVD's (guess I'll need a dual-layer DVD) or will it work from my hard-drive?

    Thanks

  • @IMattPlagueI if its a dmg file then its only for apple computers i think. i torrented my iso file and burnt it to dvd. win 7 workks too. i have got it my self :)
