just for anyone's info sc.therdf.net is not an IP address, its a URL/URI. Internet Protocal addresses (IP Addresses) use sections of 1-byte numbers. ex: 255.255.255.255 for the highest IPv4 address, or 255.255.255.255.255.255 for the highest IPv6. URLs use sections of text.
im not criticizing Shrogg, I'm just noting the difference because it can confuse the HECK out of people when you are trying to differentiate between them later in a class for something (both on a server and real life).
