as if he is ... leave the old man alone. There were a lot of American companies/banks who worked directly with the Nazi regime up until and shortly after we were at war with them.

First of all,thank you to show the nice video's of Johannes Heesters.Johannes was a very good friend of my great grandmother Maria Trické,grandmother Johanna Kloeck and my mother(she was only a child that time)he came by them with actress Marta Eggerth and Johannes first wife " Wiske" was the best friend of my grandmother before and in wartime here in Belgium.I hope Johannes reads this.I hope the broken rib is much better, keep well.

I just saw the 3 of them and do not understand what is going on ? Is Johan Heesters still alive, where does he stand on the scene ? What the hell is going on. Was ist Elblandfestspiele ? Not everyone is acquainted with alle what's going on in Germany. Thank you for some explanation. (PS I'm from Antwerpen and know some things about the life and performances of Johannes Heesters who was married to an Antwerp singer, Wiske Geys.

The Elblandfestspiele in Wittenberge - in Germany, between Hamburg and Berlin on the banks of the river Elbe, just across the border of the former GDR - are an annual open air event, held at the Alte Olmuhle, an ancient industrial complex. The program has elements of operetta and variety.
Johannes Heesters still performs, but only occasionally. His next performance will be on september 8th at Beelitz, near Potsdam. You can find his performances on his personal website.
